You might as well laugh. It's happening regardless.

Goodnight Menopause is a hilarious parody of the children’s classic Goodnight Moon. Instead of saying goodnight to clocks and socks, Goodnight Menopause says goodnight to irritability, fertility, and a host of other menopause symptoms.

Goodnight Menopause will make a fantastic gift to any woman needing a laugh about the  indignities of this stage of life.

About the Author

A native of Norristown, Penn., Melissa Avstreih has lived in the Washington, D.C., metro area since 1999. After a stint on Capitol Hill, she transitioned to journalism, working for a major national news service and earning a degree in journalism from Harvard University. Now a senior communications pro at a federal regulatory agency, Melissa spends her free time indulging her passion for writing.

In addition to trying to make her friends laugh by writing about menopause, Melissa also writes about seashells. She's authored several region-specific books to help beachgoers identify and learn about the shells they find.

Melissa lives (and writes) in Arlington, Va., with her husband, two sons, and a sweet cavapoochon.
